of Delphi H.S. (class of 1999 & earlier)
What: Basketball Game - odd number vs. even number years
3 point contests
When: Saturday February 20, 2010 at 2 PM
Why: Fun Community Involvement
Raise Money for Delphi Rotary Scholarships for
Delphi HS Graduates
Fans are encouraged to bring old pictures, yearbooks,
scrapbooks, and any memorabilia to help relive the
“GOOD OLD DAYS”
The gym will open around 1 PM for warming up and
camaraderie. After the game there will be food & perhaps
oxygen in the Commons area. Later in the evening the
current Delphi Oracles will host Pioneer. Last year this event
drew 25+ participants from up to 30 years ago and many
fans including a couple of alumni cheerleaders! The odd year
graduating classes defeated the even year graduating
classes. Who will take the crown this year? A 3 point contest
will be held at halftime. Last year’s finalists were Kyle
Wagner & David Wood. Last year the oldest geezer was
from the class of 1976- Randy Kessling, surely we can go
back farther than that this year!

Come to the DPS Volunteer Callout on Sunday, February 21 at 1:30 p.m. to find out how you can help! DPS board members will be on hand to discuss volunteering opportunities. Get a tour of the Opera House. Have some refreshments. The Opera House Gallery of Contemporary Art is the place to be at l09 S. Washington Street, on the east side of the Courthouse Square.
Dawn Cooley to present "The Art of Bead Working" at 3:00 p.m. in the Opera House Gallery of Contemporary Art, 109 S. Washington Street, Delphi.
The art of bead working will be the topic of Dawn Cooley's presentation on Sunday, February 21, at 3:00 p.m. Dawn's work is a study of the master jewelry artists of the 1800s and early 1900s. She will show antique bead pieces as part of her talk. Guests may bring in jewelry and Dawn will answer questions about history or repair. She has expertise in repairing antique beaded purses and accessories.
Tests will be conducted at the Delphi Public Library at 5:00 and 6:30 to see if you will qualify to be a census worker. Call the census office for more information at 765-237-3400.
